It's A Drastic Comcastic Cable

In April of 2005 one of Comcasts serviceman replaced the cable tv and internet cable because the cable was not working as it should. Our picture on our TV looked like it was being transmitted from Mars and it had been like that for many years despite our many calls to Comcast. This serviceman promised me in April of 2005 that someone would be right out to replace the cable into the ground as it should be. Nowhere in Bolingbrook have I seen a cable TV wire lying around on top of the ground or draped over a fence for 18 months. Cables are buried underground so that animals do not chew them and then water gets in the cable making it unoperative.

We have called the Comcast Service Department 6 or 7 (maybe more) times to complain about the TV cable being hooked on the fence but no one cares. Last July 2006, my wife called and Comcast said they would promise to schedule a serviceman to come out in July. Also, during this call in July, I also spoke with the service representive and stated to her that I was going to notify the Mayor of Bolingbrook about this problem because we were sick of calling Comcast about it. She came viciously back at me and said I was threatning the Comcast Company with my proposed call to the Mayor and they would consider my call to him a very serious threat to Comcast Organization! In July someone came out and walked in our back yard and told my wife he could not fix the cable as it was not permanent. I know it's not a permanent cable but isn't a cable hanging on a fence a temporary cable and temporary cables usually get replaced.

Well, here it is in the middle of October 2006 and guess what: the TV cable is still hanging on the fence. It's been almost 18 months that this cable has been hanging on for it's dear life because Comcast refuses to fix it.

I have been thinking about what I could use the cable on the fence for and I have the following suggestions:
1.I could hang some flower pots on it.
2.Use it as a clothesline.
3.Use it as high wire act for the squirrels and raccoons.
4.Have our local birds practice landings on it.
5.Anybody have any different suggestions????
